Indigenous Consultation in Alberta

This event will feature an engaging and informative presentation on Indigenous Consultation in Alberta, led by two esteemed speakers from the Aboriginal Consultation Office. This presentation will provide a comprehensive overview of Indigenous consultation in Alberta, including:

About the Presenters:

Mickéal Hoffman

Mickéal Hoffman is an Engagement Specialist with the Aboriginal Consultation Office, Ministry of Indigenous Relations. He is responsible for education, training, and process enhancement with industry proponents, Indigenous communities, Alberta ministries, and other regulators. His work focuses on improving information sharing, fostering positive changes, bridging gaps in understanding and knowledge, and building relationships among all parties involved in consultation.

Sarabpreet Singh

Sarabpreet Singh is the Director of Process Enhancement and Strategic Relations with the Aboriginal Consultation Office, Ministry of Indigenous Relations. With over 15 years of experience in Alberta’s public sector, including roles with Alberta Environment and Protected Areas, Sarabpreet leads consultation process enhancements, strategic relationships, training, and outreach related to Indigenous consultation on land and natural resource management in Alberta.
