CPANS AGM November 14, 2019

Dear CPANS members,
Each year, CPANS holds an election to fill positions required for the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee appointments are for one or two years and commence with the Annual General Meeting each year. The AGM is usually held at the Annual Conference. Since CPANS did not host a conference in 2019, the AGM will be held via online meeting on November 14 this year.

A call for nominations for the new board was sent out in March this year. Two positions on the board currently have no nominations, and the board is still actively seeking nominations for these two positions: Director: Edmonton Luncheons, and Vice-Director: Edmonton Luncheons. The responsibilities for the technical luncheons are shared by the Director and Vice-Director. The duties are to organize and chair technical lunch meetings, i.e. inviting speakers to present on relevant, timely technical topics, coordinating registration and payment, and arranging facilities and food requirements for the events.
If any of our members know of someone who would be interested in taking on either of these roles, we would encourage them to provide a nomination at the AGM. Nomination forms can be obtained from the members of the 2019-2020 nominating committee:
