This event will feature an engaging and informative presentation on Indigenous Consultation in Alberta\, led by two esteemed speakers from the Aboriginal Consultation Office. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about the critical processes and relationships involved in Indigenous consultation in the province. \nPresenters: Mickéal Hoffman and Sarabpreet Singh \nAbout the presentation: \nThis presentation will provide a comprehensive overview of Indigenous consultation in Alberta\, including: \n\nA background on consultation.\nThe Aboriginal Consultation Office.\nAn overview of the consultation process.\nDelegated consultation.\nConcluding consultation.\n\n  \nAbout the Presenters: \nMickéal Hoffman \nMickéal Hoffman is an Engagement Specialist with the Aboriginal Consultation Office\, Ministry of Indigenous Relations. He is responsible for education\, training\, and process enhancement with industry proponents\, Indigenous communities\, Alberta ministries\, and other regulators. His work focuses on improving information sharing\, fostering positive changes\, bridging gaps in understanding and knowledge\, and building relationships among all parties involved in consultation. \nSarabpreet Singh \nSarabpreet Singh is the Director of Process Enhancement and Strategic Relations with the Aboriginal Consultation Office\, Ministry of Indigenous Relations. With over 15 years of experience in Alberta’s public sector\, including roles with Alberta Environment and Protected Areas\, Sarabpreet leads consultation process enhancements\, strategic relationships\, training\, and outreach related to Indigenous consultation on land and natural resource management in Alberta. \n  \nWhen: \nTuesday\, December 10th\, 11:30 am to 1:00 pm \nVenue: \nUniversity Club\, University of Alberta\n11435 Saskatchewan Drive\, Edmonton\, Alberta\, T6G 2G9 \nThe U of A campus is accessible via light rail transit and bus.
