About the Speaker:
Brian Zelt holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in turbulence and air dispersion modeling. With over 40 years of experience, Brian has established expertise in air dispersion modeling, emissions estimation, boundary layer meteorology, surface water mixing zones, contaminant fate and transport, environmental and human health risk assessment, and quantitative risk assessment for public safety. Brian is the author and co-author of several advanced air quality, hazard, and risk assessment applications, including AERflare, ABflare, AERH2S, ERCBH2S, Shelter, Exposure, Hazard, Risk, Athabasca River Model, Stream Crossings, and Spill. His work integrates rigorous scientific methodologies with practical solutions for complex environmental challenges.
